Grey Ghost Malted Wheated Rye

Our newest, and long-awaited, Grey Ghost is finally ready for release!

Only the truly exceptional and head-spinningly treasured “Distiller’s Edition” cuts are placed into our small five-gallon casks made by Barrel Mill with their one-of-a-kind alligator char.

This version of our Grey Ghost series is a malted wheated rye mash bill which spent five and one half years slumbering in our warehouse and maturing into perfection. 

As it's part of our LTO series (Limited Time Offering), and bottle quantities are small--only 60, we advise you to make haste and seize the opportunity to acquire this exceptional spirit while you can.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Dominant notes of Bosc pear, leather, pumpernickel, and sage. Allowing it to rest briefly unleashes scents of tarragon, golden raisins, and honeysuckle.

Palate: Dried apples, toasted walnuts, burnt caramel, and fennel seed all round out the heavy rye influence in this whiskey. More dry than sweet, the malted rye truly shines.

Finish: Long and mellow with a blend of overripe pear, Granny Smith apples, and slightly bitter barrel char.
